CLOWSER-PENTURFF

St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Salem was the setting on Saturday, April 24th, for the wedding of Barbara Lynn Penturff and Roy (Eddie) Clowser, Jr. The Rev. Dr. Robert Copenhaver and Father William T. Lawson, uncle of the bride from San Diego, California, officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harold D. Penturff of Roanoke.

The groom is the son of Mrs. Linda Arthur of Salem and Mr. Roy E. Clowser of Thomasville, North Carolina.

The matron of honor was Mrs. Mona King, sister of the bride of Roanoke. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Tracy Wright and Mrs. Melissa Hodge, both of Roanoke.

The bridegroom's best man was Mr. Robert Underwood of Virginia Beach, Virginia. Ushers were Mr. Christopher Clowser, brother of the groom of Roanoke, and Mr. Charlie Williams, uncle of the groom of Charleston, West Virginia.

The flowergirl was Miss Ann Michael Brown of Roanoke.

The bride is a graduate of Northside High School and is employed by Amrhein Jewelers of Salem.

The bridegroom is a graduate of Salem High School and is self-employed with Quality Jewelers, Inc.

The couple will reside in Salem.
