PRATT-STOCKSTILL

Allison Lee Stockstill and John Robert Pratt were married Saturday, April 24, 1993 in a candlelight ceremony at South Roanoke United Methodist Church. The Reverend James A. Hain officiated. The reception was held at Hunting HillsCountry Club.

The bride is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Leigh Hamilton Stockstill. The groom is the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Donald Faye Pratt of Houston, Texas.

Dr. Holly Stockstill Lewis of StateCollege, Pa., was her sister's matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Ann Pratt Keane, Rural Hall, N.C., sister of the bridegroom; Robin Ann Liebal, Roanoke; Peggy Lantz Messenkopf, Clemmons, N.C.; Donna Faye Pratt, Texas City,Texas, sister of the bridegroom; Ann Michele Rodio, Mint Hill, N.C.; LauraSeddon Stockstill, Roanoke, sister-in-law of the bride; Melissa Yahnke Stockstill, Pittsburgh, Pa., sister-in-law of the bride; and Susanne Lenore Walshe, Fort Collins, Co. Flowergirls were Blair Katherine Lewis, State College, Pa., niece ofthe bride; and Angelina Rose Pratt,Waynesville, N.C., niece of thebridegroom.

Mr. Rick Wayne West of St. Cloud, Fla., served as best man. Groomsmen were Spencer Scott Lewis, State College, Pa., brother-in-law of the bride; Richard Scott Messenkopf, Clemmons, N.C.; Paul Kenneth Pratt, Waynesville, N.C., brother of the groom; William Edward Pratt,Texas City, Texas, brother of the groom; Dave Robert Smeltzer, Charlotte, N.C.; Dr. Kurt Robert Stockstill, Roanoke, brother of the bride; Dr. Todd Frederick Stockstill, Pittsburg, Pa.; brother of the bride; and Jerry Francis Wilbur, III,Sonoita, Ariz.

The bride is a graduate of Cave Spring High School and Wake Forest University. She received her BSN degree from the University of North Carolina at-Charlotte. She is employed by Forsyth Memorial Hospital in Winston-Salem, N.C. The groom is a graduate of Clear Creek High School in League City,Texas and attended Western Carolina University. He is employed by theWinston-Salem Police Department.

Following a wedding trip to Antigua, the couple will reside in Winston-Salem, N.C.
