Oct. 26, 1983: 10th anniversary of the U.S. invasion of Grenada.

January-February 1968: 25th anniversary of the Tet Offensive during the Vietnam War.

July 27, 1953: 40th anniversary of the armistice ending the fighting in Korea.

Nov. 11, 1918: 75th anniversary of the armistice ending World War I.

July 1-3, 1863: 130th anniversary of the Battle of Gettysburg, the Union victory that turned the tide in the Civil War.
