OBIT AUSTIN, EMMA LEMON
AUSTIN, Emma Lemon, 88, of Fincastle, passed away June 7, 1993, in a
Roanoke hospital. She was the daughter of the late, E. I. Lemon and Ollie
Crush Lemon. She was also preceded in death by her husband, John W. Austin who
was the treasurer of Botetourt County for many years. She is survived by a
son, James Donald Austin; a daughter and son-in-law, Phyllis and William W.
Burch Sr., all of Fincastle; three grandchildren, William W. Burch Jr. of
Roanoke, John Austin Burch of Accomac, Tracy Burch Humbert of Troutville; and
four great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be conducted Thursday, June
10, 11 a.m. at the Godwin Cemetery in Fincastle with the Rev. John Armitstead
officiating. Friends may call at the Rader Funeral Home, Troutville, from 7 to
9 p.m. Wednesday.
