OBIT ENZLOW, REV. MICHAEL LUCAS

ENZLOW, Rev. Michael Lucas, 39, of Roanoke, and formerly of Burlington, N.C., passed away suddenly in Burlington, N.C., where he was currently serving as pastor of the Morning Star Baptist Church. He was former pastor of the Maple Street Baptist Church on Fairfax Ave., Roanoke for several years, and was very active in the ministers conference of Roanoke and vicinity, and was active in the religious community of this area. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Guinivere Enzlow; his son, Michael Jr.; one daughter, Gwendolyn Denise; granddaughter, Michelle Renee Enzlow, all of Burlington, N.C.; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Comey L. Enzlow; one sister, Modgie Jeffries, all of Greensboro, N.C.; one brother, Benjamin Harold Enzlow, Roanoke. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday from 7 to 8 p.m. at the First Baptist Church on Apple St. in Burlington, N.C. Funeral service will be held at First Baptist Church on Saturday, 2 p.m. with burial in Mount Carmel Baptist Church Cemetery, High Point, N.C. Hargett Bryant Funeral Home, 519 Apple St., Burlington, NC 27215 is handling arrangements.
