OBIT BEAMER, UNA WARNER

BEAMER, Una Warner, 92, of Rt 2, Narrows, died Monday, June 7, 1993. She peacefully departed this earth at her home on Wolf Creek after a lengthy illness. Mrs. Beamer was a lifelong resident of Giles County and was born on December 31, 1900, and was the daughter of the late John Preston and Hattie Dunford Warner. She was a member of the Hales Chapel United Methodist Church and was a member of the Wolf Creek Home Demonstration Club. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard Burton Beamer; a daughter, Bernice Beamer Gehlen; four brothers, Oscar, Carson, John and Garland Warner; two sisters, Pauline and Lucille Warner. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Ronald Warner and Hilda Brown Beamer, Rt 2, Narrows; her son-in-law, William J. Gehlen, Mobile, Ala.; granddaughter, Deborah Gehlen Denniston and her husband, Dwaine, Mobile, Ala.; grandson, John Joseph Beamer and his wife, Janet, Hornell, N.Y.; four great-grandchildren, Dwaine C. and Will Denniston, Mobile, Ala., Josef and Jordan Ruth Beamer, Hornell, N.Y.; a brother, Gilbert Warner, Rich Creek; sister, Ina Warner Wimmer, Narrows; special friends, Marie Conley, Doris Williams, and Nona Conley. Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 p.m. at the Hales Chapel United Methodist Church, Rt 2, Narrows, with Rev. Doug Hyndrich and Rev. James L. Crabtree officiating. Burial will follow in the Beamer Family Cemetery, Rt 2, Narrows. The family will meet their friends at Riffe's Funeral Service in Narrows, Wednesday evening from 7 to 9 p.m.
