OBIT OVERSTREET, DAVID GRIGGIANS
OVERSTREET, David Griggians, 70, of Roanoke, passed away Wednesday, June
16, 1993, in a Roanoke hospital. He was retired from the N&W Railroad and was
a veteran of World War II. He is survived by his wife, Ada Brown Overstreet,
his sons and daughter-in-law, David Lee and Sheila Overstreet of Georgia,
James Edward Overstreet and Betty Ballard of Roanoke, daughters and
son-in-law, Mary Ellen Overstreet, Roanoke, Kathy Marie and Ted Camburn of
Florida; two brothers-in-law, William Hobert Spraker, Roanoke, and Robert
Derkowski of Indiana; ten grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at noon Saturday at the Lotz Roanoke Chapel by
Rev. Chester Lykens and Rev. Carter L. Sloan with burial in Blue Ridge
Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Thursday or Friday at the
Lotz Roanoke Chapel.
