MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES RECOGNIZES ADVOCATES

Mental Health Services of the Roanoke Valley recently honored two individuals and a business during a recent awards luncheon.

Cathy Fisher received the Substance Abuse Services Award for her work with the Greater Roanoke Infant and Toddler Program, a coalition of agencies involved with assessing infants and identifying problems associated with substance abuse.

Diane Kelly, executive director of the Mental Health Association, received the Mental Health Award for her advocacy work locally and statewide.

Kroger stores in the Roanoke Valley received the Sunshine Award for hiring people with disabilities and supporting programs that help people with disabilities.
