WOOD-JARVIS

Rebecca Leigh Jarvis and Chris Wood were married Saturday, June 19, at 4:30 p.m. in Glasgow Baptist Church. The officiating clergymen were the Rev. Walter B. Failes, Jr., and the Rev. William Thomas. The reception was held at the Jefferson Ballroom, Natural Bridge Hotel. The bride was given in marriage by her father. Honor attendant was Marcia Irvine. Bridal attendants were Stacy Wood, sister of the groom, Peggy Emerson and Teresa Painter. Junior attendants were Molly and Emily Cox. The best man was Charlie Mac Wood, father of the groom. Groomsmen were John Clarke Jarvis, brother of the bride, Nathan Paxton, Darrell Plogger and Mark Wheeler. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Zachary Jarvis of Natural Bridge Station. She is a graduate of James Madison University. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charlie M. Wood of Glasgow. He is a graduate of Bridgewater College and is employed by Rockbridge County Schools. The newlyweds took a wedding trip to Disney World in Orlando, Florida.
