SPRADLIN ANNIVERSARY

Mr. and Mrs. Howard G. Spradlin, Sr., celebrated their fiftieth wedding anniversary on Sunday, June 13, 1993. The celebration was held at Alleghany Church of Christ fellowship hall, Christiansburg, Virginia, and was hosted by their children and grandchildren. The couple was married on June 12, 1943, in Salem, Virginia. Mrs. Spradlin is the former Conston Shepherd. The couple have three children, Stephen Spradlin, Blacksburg, Va., Howard Spradlin, Jr., Summerfield, N. C., and Barbara Smithwick, Christiansburg, Va. They have seven grandchildren. Mr. Spradlin is retired from Virginia Electric Service.
