OBIT WADE, ANDREW JACKSON
WADE, Andrew Jackson, 89, of Floyd, passed away Monday, June 21, 1993, in a
Roanoke hospital. He is preceded in death by one son, Raymond Arthur Wade. He
is survived by his wife, Mary Octavia Wade of Floyd; six daughters and
sons-in-law, Ivadell and Amos Janney of Copper Hill, Thelma and Wilton Sutphin
of Floyd, Joyce and James DeHart of Floyd, Elizabeth and Roger Bower of
Vinton, Erma and Roger Goad of Floyd, Vera and Roger Sewell of Hampton; three
sons and daughters-in-law, Coy and Francis Wade of Floyd, Claude and Betty
Wade of Floyd, Jerry and Elizabeth Wade of Floyd; 21 grandchildren; 15
great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Wednesday, June 23 at 2 p.m. at
Tuggles Gap Baptist Church with the Rev. Murray Agee, Rev. Tom Bumpass, Rev.
Robert Blackwell and Rev. Jack Casstevens officiating. Interment to follow in
Lee Cemetery. Friends may call after 1 p.m. Tuesday, at Gardner's Funeral Home
where the family will be from 7 to 9 p.m.
