1. There were 22 episodes of the Saturday-morning cartoon series. All are available on Paramount Home Video.

2. Khan prided himself on never forgetting a face, but even he couldn't remember Chekov because Chekov wasn't in the "Space Seed" episode that introduced Khan. (Thanks to Dale Fine of Seattle for this question.)

3. Uncle Bernard.

4. Throne rejected the role of Dr. McCoy when offered it by Gene Roddenberry. However, the actor later provided the keeper's voice in "The Cage," played Commodore Mendez in the two-part "Trek"-classic episode "Menagerie" and played Pardek in the "Next Gen" episodes "Unification I and II."

5. After directing several episodes of Roddenberry's series "The Lieutenant," McEveety did "Balance of Terror," "Miri," "Dagger of the Mind," "Patterns of Force," "The Omega Glory" and "Spectre of the Gun."
