WALTERS-WADE

Ginger L. Wade and Shannon L. Walters were united in marriage on June 19, 1993 in Rainbow Forest Baptist Church. Pastor Rick Via was theofficiating clergyman. The reception was held at the Vinton Senior Citizens Center.

Jennifer Jarrett, longtime friend of the bride, was the matron of honor. The bridesmaids were Susan Kizer, sister of the bride; Tresea Severa, A.J. Jones and Darlene Palmer, friends of the couple. Little Ginger Wade, niece of the bride, was the flowergirl. Carl Walters, Sr., served as his son's best man. The ushers were Carl "CW" Walters, Jr., brother of the groom; Richard Hill, John Sheets and Steve Fralin, friends of the couple. Hunter Walters, nephew of the groom, was the ringbearer. Ashley Walters, sister of the groom, was the guestbook attendant.

Ginger is the daughter of Jacqueline and Kermit Rowe of Botetourt Co. and Leonard and Nancy Wade of Roanoke Co. She is a graduate of Lord Botetourt High School, attended Virginia WesternCommunity College, and is employed by Crestar Bank. Shannon is the son ofShirley and Henry Fairtrace of Moneta and Carl Walters Sr. of Roanoke. He is a graduate of Lord Botetourt High School, attends Virginia Western CommunityCollege, and is employed by HTFMechanical Services.

Following the wedding trip to theBahamas and Disney World, the couple reside in Vinton.
