FOOTBALL-KIRBY SIGNS WITH DOLPHINS FOR 3 YEARS

Terry Kirby, the former University of Virginia star, became the Miami Dolphins' last draft pick to sign when he accepted a three-year deal for an estimated $900,000. Kirby, a running back, was drafted in the third round.

Coach Shula was delighted that none of his top rookies will miss any workouts because of stalled negotiations and said, "This is the first time in recent memory that that's happened."

Two veterans - receiver Scott Miller and cornerback Chris Green - agreed to terms, leaving four players unsigned: safety Louis Oliver, cornerback J.B. Brown, center Jeff Uhlenhake and running back Bobby Humphrey.
