RANDOLPH-MACON PRESIDENT LEAVING

Linda Lorimer, president of Randolph-Macon Woman's College for the past six years, has announced her intention to resign this fall.

She will be returning to Yale University, where she is a trustee, as a senior officer to advise and serve as a lieutenant to the newly appointed president.

The move will reunite her family in Connecticut, where her husband practices law.

Lambuth Clarke, a trustee at Randolph-Macon, will serve as acting president of the college beginning Oct. 1.
