OBIT MCGHEE, MARIE M.
McGHEE, Marie M., 74, of Roanoke, died Thursday, July 22, 1993. She was the
widow of Melvin G. (Pete) McGhee. She was predeceased by a daughter, Patsy
Darlene McGhee. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Marilyn and
Junior Meador of Roanoke; one granddaughter and husband, Zshawn and Robert
Morris Jr. of Roanoke; one grandson, Wesley Smith of Roanoke; one sister,
Thelma Stepp of Pinsonfork, Ky.; a very special and dear friend, Ruth Gearhart
of Roanoke. Funeral services will be conducted from Oakey's North Chapel 1
p.m. Saturday, July 24 with the Rev. Harry E. Leland officiating. Burial will
be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Friends may call Oakey's North Chapel where
the family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday.
