OBIT JONES, THOMAS WESLEY
JONES, Thomas Wesley, 59, of Moneta, died Thursday, July 22, 1993. He was a
member of Northminster Presbyterian Church and was a self-employed accountant.
He was an army veteran of the Korean Conflict. He is survived by his wife,
Julia Platt, Moneta; his mother Mrs. Herbert M. Jones; one brother, Richard L.
(Pete) Jones; three sons, James W. (JJ) Jones, Thomas W. Jones, all of
Roanoke, William D. Jones, Vinton; four granddaughters, Genesis M. Jones, Erin
E. Jones of Roanoke; Shannon L. Jones, Vinton, Lindsay M. Jones, Roanoke.
Funeral services will be conducted from Oakey's North Chapel 11:30 a.m.
Saturday, July 24, 1993, with the Rev. David A. Kirk officiating. Burial will
be private. Friends may call Oakey's North Chapel, where the family will
receive friends 7 to 9 p.m. Friday.
