WALKER-BRYANT

Mr. Frederick William Walker, Jr., of Richmond, announces the engagement of his daughter, Elizabeth Southworth, of Virginia Beach, to Mr. L. Preston Bryant, Jr., of Lynchburg, son of Mr. Larry Preston Bryant, Sr., of Gretna, and Ms. Brenda Williams Bryant, also of Lynchburg.

Miss Walker, also the daughter of the late Elizabeth Buford Kilmer Walker, was graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a B.S. in mass communications. She is employed as sales manager for the Omni International Hotel in Norfolk.

Mr. Bryant was graduated from Randolph-Macon College with a B.A. in English. He also holds an M.Hum. in literature and history from the University of Richmond and an M.A. in British literature from the University of London. He is employed as legislative liaison to the minority leader in the Virginia House of Delegates.

The wedding is planned for November 20th in Richmond.
