AMOS-HANNA

Patricia Marie Hanna and Bobby Giles Amos were married July 31, 1993, in St. Andrew's Catholic Church with Father James Begley officiating. The reception was held at Bernard's Landing Conference Center.

The matron of honor was Denise Metts, sister of the groom. The bridesmaids were Dana Amos, sister of the groom, Eugenia Amos, sister-in-law of the groom, L. Kathleen Hanna, sister-in-law of the bride, and junior bridesmaid was Kristen Hanna, niece of the bride.

The best man was Thomas G. Amos, father of the groom. Ushers included Jimmy Amos, brother of the groom, Allen Blankenship, friend, Terrence Hanna, brother of the bride, Donald Robertson, friend. Scripture readers were Joanne Curran, cousin of the bride, and Thomas Hanna, brother of the bride. Wedding coordinator was Martha Hanna. The guestbook was attended by Barbara Conner and Kathy Meador, friends of the bride.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John W. Hanna of Venice, Florida. She graduated from Cave Spring High School and has received a Master of Arts in Education from Virginia Tech. She is employed by Franklin County Public Schools.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas G. Amos of Moneta, Virginia. He is a graduate of Franklin County High School and The College of Health Sciences. He is employed as a Paramedic with Carilion Transportation Services.

The newlyweds will live at Smith Mountain Lake in Moneta, Virginia, after a wedding trip to The Bahamas.
