Tracie Renee Martin and Robert Dean Cook II were married July 31, 1993, in Christiansburg Good Shepherd Baptist Church. Rev. George Bulson III performed the ceremony. The reception was held at the Holiday Inn, Blacksburg. The maid of honor was Sally Dudding, cousin. Bridesmaids were Pamela Earles, aunt, Jennifer Long, friend, Debra Weddle, sister of the groom, and Cynde Lytton, friend. Flowergirl was Karie Wall, niece of the groom. The best man was Blake Covey, friend. Ushers were Robert D. Cook, Sr., father of the groom, Shawn Murray, Darrell Smith, and Josh Turner, friends. Ringbearer was Zachary Earles, cousin of the bride. The candlelighters were J.C. Martin, brother of the bride, and Travis Echols. The guestbook was attended by Tina Wall, sister of the groom. The bride is a daughter of Johnny and Teresa Martin, of Christiansburg. She graduated from Christiansburg High School and from Radford University and is employed by Roanoke Memorial Hospital as an RN. The bridegroom is a son of Robert D. Cook, Sr., of Dublin, and Shirley Cook, of Radford. He graduated from Radford High School and from New River Community College and is employed by Volvo White. After the wedding trip to Myrtle Beach, S.C., the newlyweds will live in Christiansburg.
