RUPPERT-MCCOY

Amy Kathryn McCoy and EricMichael Ruppert were married on July 31st in a garden ceremony at the home of the bride in McCoy. Rev. Gordon Lee was the officiating minister. Leslie Decker, friend of the bride, was the maid of honor. The bridesmaids were Kathryn Robertson, cousin of the bride, and Susan Ruppert, sister of the groom. Flowergirl was Anne Thorsen, friend of the bride. Michael Ruppert served as his son's best man. The ushers were Tracy McCoy, brother of the bride, Jeff Ruppert and Chris Ruppert, both brothers of the groom. Shawn Ruppert, brother of the groom, was the ring bearer. Dale Huff and Leonard Gamberg, both cousins of the bride, were scripture readers. The guestbook was attended by Karen Scott, and the director was Claudia Stutzman. Barbara Crockett was the soloist and Jeannie Brewer was the pianist. The bride is the daughter of Gary and Jane McCoy and the granddaughter of Florence Albert and Clarence McCoy, all of McCoy. She graduated from Blacksburg High School and Radford University. The bride is employed by Montgomery County Public Schools. The bridegroom is a son of Michael and Marcia Ruppert, of Midlothian, Virginia, and the grandson of Roland and Anne Ruppert, of Baltimore, Maryland. He graduated from Blacksburg High School and Virginia Tech and is employed by Hampton Inn. After the honeymoon to Hilton Head, they will reside in Christiansburg.
