SCHROPE-FISHER

Shannon Gay Fisher and Mark Kevin Schrope were united in marriage on July 31, 1993 at Raleigh Court United Methodist Church. Reverend Jim Riach officiated. The reception was held at Hidden Valley Country Club. The bride was escorted by her father and presented in marriage by her parents.

The maid of honor was Meghan Fox of Richmond, Va. The bridesmaids were Terry Fisher, sister of the bride, of Charlottesville, Va.; Carrie Campbell of Charleston, SC; Katherine Brown of Vandalia, Oh; Tyler Fultz of Winston-Salem, NC; Coley Gallagher-Quart of Orlando, Fla.; Kathleen Johnson of Dallas, Tx.; and Jennifer Sease of Salem, Va.; all friends of the bride.

Bill Schrope, father of the groom served as best man. Groomsmen were Scott Schrope, brother of the groom of Orlando, Fla.; Gavin Fisher, brother of the bride, of Salem, Va.; Bradley Barnes of Lookout Mountain, Ga.; Charles Bonner of Atlanta, Ga.; Rob Cocke of Danville, Va.; Austin Davis, Russell Huffman, Collin Jennings, and Pearce Presnell, all of Orlando, Fla.; Jim Kemp of Bethesda, Md.; and Chris Wolff of Columbia, Ga. All are friends of the groom.

A special scripture was read by Chris Jones of Orlando, Fla. Flower girls were Julianna and Katie Thompson. Acolyte was Scott Thompson. All are of Charlottesville, Va.

Music was provided by soloist Leslie Huntley of Jacksonville, Fla. and pianist Tom Galati of James, NY. The guest books were attended by Amy Gentry and Julie Lipes of Salem, Va.

Shannon, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Fisher of Salem, graduated from Salem High School and Wake Forest University. She will teach elementary school this fall. Mark is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Schrope of Orlando, Fla. He graduated from Boone High School and Wake Forest University and will attend graduate school in Oceanography at Florida State.

After a wedding trip to Vail, Colo. the couple will live in Tallahassee, Fla.
