IRANIAN PRESIDENT SWORN IN FOR 2ND TERM

President Hashemi Rafsanjani of Iran was sworn in for his second four-year term on Wednesday and promised economic reform and a calm foreign policy.

During the inauguration in Tehran,Rafsanjani said his government does not seek adventurism in its policy dealings with other nations,Tehran's official Islamic Republic News Agency reported.

Iran has been blamed for trying to spread Islamic revolution beyond its borders,including Egypt and other secular states.
