Elizabeth Stringfellow Spann and Thomas Coleman Craig were married on August 7, 1993 in First Presbyterian Church in Anderson, S.C. with Dr. B.E. Pettit officiating.

Mary Ligon Spann, sister of the bride, was the maid of honor. The bridesmaids were Elizabeth Jennings Craig, sister of the groom; Shelly Dawn Carson, Mary Pressly Hunt, and Gabrielle LouiseDavidovich. William Herbert Barnes, Jr. was the best man. The ushers wereHorace Stringfellow V, John Neil Holt, Jr., James Donald Moore, Jr., William Douglas Ballard and James William Stewart, Jr. Miss Riley KillenStringfellow was the guestbook attendant.

Elizabeth is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Smith Spann of Anderson, S.C. She is a graduate of Presbyterian College with a B.A. in English. Thomas is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Thomas Craig of Birmingham, Alabama. He is a graduate of Presbyterian College with a B.A. in History, and is employed by Vulcan Tire Company in Birmingham.

The newlyweds will reside inBirmingham, Alabama.
