OBIT LESTER, HAZEL HUFFMAN

LESTER, Hazel Huffman, 80, of Roanoke, died Wednesday, August 18, 1993. She was the widow of Joseph B. Lester, a member of Crystal Spring Baptist Church, and a retired American Viscose employee. Surviving are one daughter and son-in-law, Tracey A. and Richard L. Brizendine, Roanoke; brother-in-law, Henry A. Lester, Salem; two sisters-in-law, Hazel Lester, Fanney Agee, both of Salem; several nieces and nephews, including Virginia Oyler. Funeral services will be conducted at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel 1:30 p.m. Friday by the Rev. Harry E. Leland. Burial will be in Sherwood Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to the Cave Spring Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 20181, Roanoke, VA 24018-0019. Friends may call at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel.
