OBIT RIDDLE, CLYDE H.

RIDDLE, Clyde H., 72, of Roanoke, formerly of Chesapeake, died Thursday, August 19, 1993, in a local hospital. He was a retired Army veteran and retired assistant chief of police of the Norfolk Navy Shipyard. Mr. Riddle was also a Shriner member. Surviving are his wife, Virginia P. Riddle; daughter and son-in-law, Vickie and Bill Agee, Roanoke; two sons and daughters-in-law, James H. and Rosemary Riddle, Roanoke, Tommy L. and Michelle Riddle of Palmdale, Calif.; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be at the Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, 11 a.m. Saturday with the Rev. Frank Feather officiating. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Oakey's North Chapel.
