HOURS SET FOR VOTER REGISTRATION

Voter registration offices in the New River Valley are offering extended hours and off-site voter registration for the Nov. 2 general election. The deadline to register or make address changes is Oct. 4 at 5 p.m.

Montgomery County residents may register Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., at the registrar's office, room 220, County Courthouse, or at several other locations.

The Montgomery County Registrar's Office will hold Saturday hours through Oct. 2.

For absentee voters, the Montgomery County registrar's office will be open Oct. 23 and Oct. 30, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. The last day to receive applications for mail ballots will be Oct. 28, and Oct. 30 is the last day for in-person absentee voting.

Pulaski County residents may register in the Voter Registration Office, 52 W. Main St., Monday through Friday, 8:30-noon and 1 p.m.-5 p.m.

Absentee ballot applications will be accepted during regular office hours through 5 p.m. on Oct. 30.

Radford residents may register at the registrar's office, Recreation Building, First Street, weekdays, 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m., and at the Radford Public Library on First Street during regular library hours. The registrar's office also will be open Oct. 2, 8:30-5 p.m.

Absentee ballot applications will be accepted Oct. 23 and Oct. 30, 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. at the registrar's office.
