EDUCATION PAC ENDORSES BAKER

Del. Tommy Baker, R-Dublin, has gained the endorsement of the Political Action Committee of the Virginia Education Association. Baker is running unopposed for re-election to the General Assembly in the 12th legislative district.

According to Jeanie Anderson, chairwoman of the Political Action Committee of the Pulaski County Education Association, Baker has worked hard to earn the endorsement. "Through words and actions, Tommy has made it clear he understands that a strong public education system is absolutely essential for the cultural and economic health of this area," said Anderson.

Baker is a Radford attorney who has served two terms as delegate from the district, which covers all of Radford city and Pulaski County and part of Giles County.
