OBIT WRIGHT, REBECCA ANN
WRIGHT, Rebecca Ann, 39, of Elliston, died Monday, September 27, 1993 in a
Roanoke hospital. She was a native of Mullens, W.Va. and an area resident
since 1973. She was a Customer Service Representative with Crest Uniform
Company where she had been employed for the past 12 years. She was active in
the local Horsemans Association and enjoyed being involved in her sons
activities at school. Survivors include her husband, Irvin Wayne Wright Sr.;
one son, Wayne Wright Jr. of Elliston; her mother and stepfather, Roxie and
James Dean of Clarksburg, W.Va.; her father and stepmother, Waymon and Shirley
McKinney of Covel, W.Va.; maternal grandmother, Elizabeth Johnson of Norfolk;
brother, Lee McKinney of Daniels, W.Va.; two sisters, Sue Stanley of
Barbersville, W.Va., Cheryl Stone of Roanoke; several nieces, nephews and many
beloved friends. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 29 at 11
a.m. in the John M. Oakey and Son Chapel by the Rev. John D. Hurley. Burial
will follow in Sherwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on
Tuesday at the funeral home from 6 to 9 p.m.
