OBIT KING, STERLING FREDERICK
KING, Sterling Frederick, 60, of Troutville, died Monday, September 27,
1993. Mr. King will be sadly missed by his many friends and the employees at
the Roanoke Seat Cover Shop, where he had been affiliated for many years. He
is survived by his wife, Virginia S. King; son, Joseph F. King; mother, Hallie
M. King of Montvale; sisters, Mrs. P. L. (Becky) Roberts of Charlotte, N.C.,
Mrs. Garrett F. (Judy) Hudgins of Roanoke, Mrs. H. T. (Jenny) Obenchain of
Chesapeake, Mrs. David S. (Faye) Grant of Bedford, Mrs. Rodger D. (Betty Jo)
Mabe of Roanoke; three nieces and four nephews. Funeral services will be held
2 p.m. Thursday, September 30, 1993, at the Lotz Roanoke Chapel by Rev.
William Combs. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, 2 to
4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Lotz Roanoke Chapel. In lieu of
flowers memorials may be made the D.A.V. or the American Red Cross.
