CHADWELL-WOODY

Cynthia D. Woody and Joseph F.Chadwell, Jr., were married Saturday, October 2, 1993, in West Salem Baptist Church with Rev. Michael Slaughter officiating. The matron of honor was Beverly Whited, and bridesmaids were Sandra Baun and Jessica Chadwell, daughter of the groom. The best man was Gary Dills, of Oak Ridge, Tenn., and groomsmen were David Brumfield and Joseph Pauley. Junior ushers were Jason Chadwell, son of the groom, and James Bohon, son of the bride. The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Eva Harmon and the late Harold Woody, Sr., of Roanoke. She was escorted byDavid Harmon, her stepfather. The groom is the son of Mrs. Lela Spitz, of Salem, and Joseph F. Chadwell, Sr., of Knoxville, Tenn.

After a honeymoon trip to the Smoky Mountains, the couple will live in Salem.
