JEFCOAT-EMERY

Susan Marie Emery and John Davis Jefcoat were married on September 11, 1993, at the West Salem Baptist Church in Salem, Va. Officiating the ceremony was Reverend Michael Slaughter. The maid of honor was Melissa Emery of Baltimore, Md. The bridesmaids were Angel Schaefer of Baltimore, Md., and Tabby Fahrney of Richmond, Va. The best man was Dennis Hodges of Lawrenceville, Ga. The groomsmen were Ben Jefcoat of Goodview, Va., and Tony Underwood of Salem, Va. The flower girl was Tracy Kidd. The ringbearer was Joshua Kidd. Scripture was read by Mary Hollar. The guest book was attended by Glenda Williams. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. Jackson Emery of Baltimore, Md. She is a graduate of Friends School and Roanoke College. Susan is currently employed by Carilion Health System. The groom is the son of Mrs. Catherine D. Jefcoat and the late Benton M. Jefcoat of Salem, Va. He is a graduate of Salem High School and Roanoke College. John is employed by Russ Berrie, Inc. The Jefcoats will make their home in Roanoke, Va.
