WARD-NICELY

Elsie Mae Nicely and Ronald Wesley Ward were united in marriage on October 9, 1993, in Bonsack Baptist Church, Roanoke, Virginia, with Dr. Robert Moore III officiating. The reception was held at the Holiday Inn Civic Center.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Larry E. Nicely of Troutville, Virginia. She is a graduate of Lord Botetourt High School and attended Virginia Western Community College. She is employed by ITT Electro-Optical Products Division in Roanoke, Va.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jim W. Ward of Jonesborough, Tennessee. He is a graduate of Daniel Boone High School and East Tennessee State University. He is employed by ITT Electro-Optical Products Division in Roanoke, Va.

Jamie Niday of Blue Ridge, Va., friend of the bride, served as the honor attendant. The bridesmaids were Beth Ward of Jonesborough, Tenn., sister of the groom, and Rosann Olmetti of Roanoke, Va., friend of the bride. Santana Niday of Blue Ridge, Va., served as the junior bridesmaid. The guest book attendant was Nancy Ward of Knoxville, Tenn., sister-in-law of the groom.

Mark Ward of Knoxville, Tenn., brother of the groom, served as best man. The groomsmen were Brad Ward of Jonesborough, Tenn., brother of the groom, Johnny Nicely and Larry W. Nicely, both of Troutville, Va., brothers of the bride.

Music selections "Only God Could Love You More" and "I Cherish The Treasure" were sung by Mark Slaughter. Photography was by Jim Markey Photography.

Following a cruise in the Caribbean, the couple will make their home in Troutville, Va.
