JOHNSON, Steven Theodore Sr., 30, of Roanoke, passed away Tuesday, October
19, 1993. He was a veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard. He was preceded in death
by one brother, James A. Johnson. Survivors include his wife, April M.
Johnson; one son, Steven T. Johnson Jr.; three daughters, Lafawn, Farrah and
Winter Johnson; mother, Ruby Perry, all of Roanoke; father, Mitchell (Gladys)
Johnson, Fries, Va.; five brothers, Jerome and Gordon Johnson, both of
Roanoke.,Bruce and Russell Calfee, both of Newport News, and Leonard Calfee,
Fries; six sisters, Charlotte Gilbert, Missy Perry, and Janice King, all of
Roanoke, Sharon Johnson, New Jersey, Debra Hash, Charlotte, N.C., Felicia
Johnson, Lynchburg; grandmother, Lula Johnson; father and mother-in-law,
Clarence and Barbara White, all of Roanoke; a host of other relatives and
friends. Funeral services will be Saturday, 11 a.m. at Glorious Church of God
in Christ. Elder Frank Johnson will officiate. Interment will be in the family
cemetery, Fries, Va. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the
service at the church. Arrangements by Hamlar-Curtis Funeral Home.
