OBIT-TURNER, HARRY M.

TURNER, Harry M., 75, of Radford, died Thursday, October 21, 1993 at his home. Mr. Turner was a former employee of Gordon Dalton Wholesale and a retired employee of Homer Cox Ford. He was a former Boy Scout leader of Troupe # 149, a past president of the Fairlawn Lyons Club and a member of the Fairlawn Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Margaret Thompson Turner of Radford; three sons, John M. Turner, Pulaski, James T. Turner, Dublin and H. Brooks Turner, Salem; one daughter, Mrs. Jack (Susan) Mullins, Missouri City, Texas; three brothers, W. Frank Turner, Greensboro, N.C., Charles T. Turner, Birmingham, Ala. and J. Ray Turner, Bedford; one sister, Ruby T. Kirby, Roanoke; eight grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Devilbiss Funeral Chapel, with Dr. Charles Taylor and the Rev. Daryl Joyce officiating. Interment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Devilbiss Funeral Home.
