LIBRARY PLANS YEAR-LONG SILENT AUCTION

A year long silent auction is being organized by the Friends of the Montgomery-Floyd Regional Library at the Blacksburg Area Branch Library, 400 Draper Road.

Each month for the next year, a local artist will donate one piece of work for silent auction bids in one dollar increments.

The first work is a doll donated by doll-maker and fabric artist Annie Moon. The auction began Monday and will go until Dec. 15.
