OBIT EDWARDS, TAYLOR MONROE JR.

EDWARDS, Taylor Monroe Jr. 68, of Vinton, died Sunday, November 21, 1993. He was retired from the N & W Railroad with over 25 years service and was a veteran serving in the U.S. Army. He is survived by his wife, Frances M. Edwards; daughters, Linda E. Berninger, Richmond, Debbie E. Snyder, Roanoke; son, Jeffrey M. Edwards Sr., Roanoke; brother, Victor M. Edwards, Bristol, Va.; stepsons, Richard Cox, James Cox, Robert Cox; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Lotz Roanoke Chapel by the Rev. Roger D. Smith. Burial in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens with military honors by VFW Post #1264. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Lotz Roanoke Chapel.
