BIG BROTHERS, SISTERS SEEK VOLUNTEERS

Big Brothers and Big Sisters of the New River Valley is recruiting volunteers for their program. Orientation is set for Dec. 8, 6 p.m., at the Christiansburg Public Library, 125 Sheltman St.

Participants must be at least 18, have their own vehicle and be able to devote at least four hours a week for one year or three school semesters.

Volunteers should bring two photographic identifications.
