LANIER-HUFF

Michelle Elaine Huff and Johnny Wade Lanier were married December 11, 1993, in Lynn Haven Baptist Church by Reverend Jay D. Owen. The reception was held at the church. The matrons of honor were Laurie Rowland and Dana Proehl, sisters of the bride. The flower girl was Rae Lea Sutphin, friend of the bride. The best men were Harry Rowland and Matt Proehl, friends of the groom. Ushers were Billy Robertson, Brian Carter, Greg McKee and Mark McKee, all friends of the groom. The ring bearer was John Michael Hill, cousin of the bride. The guestbook was attended by Teresa Gay, cousin of the bride. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis M. Huff of Hardy. She is a graduate of Staunton River High School and Virginia Western Community College. The bride is employed by Jefferson Internal Medicine Assoc. and SupeRx Drug. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. O. Wade Lanier of Hardy and Mrs. Betty S. Divers of Roanoke. He is a graduate of Staunton River High School and attends Virginia Western Community College. He is employed by Lanier Financial Services, Inc. After a wedding trip to the Pocono Mountains, the couple will live in Roanoke.
