OBIT FITZGERALD, ETHEL LILLY

FITZGERALD, Ethel Lilly, 95, of Buena Vista, died Friday, December 10, 1993, at her home. She had made her home with her son and daughter-in-law, Henry and Rita Fitzgerald. She was born July 7, 1898, in Nelson County, daughter of the late Rufus and Hester Coffee Fitzgerald. She was preceded in death by her husband, B. N. Fitzgerald, three infant children, and Clyde and Ennis Fitzgerald. She is survived by two daughters, Lucille ("Nooky") Smith of Natural Bridge and Mary Shanks of Buchanan; two sons, Clarence Fitzgerald and Henry Fitzgerald; 19 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, December 13, 1993, at the Lomax Funeral home, with the Rev. Dean Staton officiating. Interment will be in Green Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Lomax Funeral Home on Sunday, from 7 to 8 p.m.
