APPLAUSE

St. Paul United Methodist Church expects to raise more than $3,000 this month at its annual gift wrap booth in the New River Valley Mall to donate to the Montgomery County Assistance Program, the Crisis Pregnancy Center and other local agencies.

From the hundreds of gift wrappings, costing 75 cents to $15, the church is able to raise money each year for these organizations.

St. Paul also gives turkey hams valued at more than $3,500 to the Christmas Store for distribution to local families.

The efforts are coordinated by the Rev. Charles McHose and Juanita Thomas.
