OBIT-ROSE, CARL ELLIS SR.

ROSE, Carl Ellis Sr. 85, of Roanoke, passed away Wednesday, December 22, 1993. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margie Beckelhimer Rose. Surviving include his son, Carl E. Rose Jr., Roanoke; daughters, Barbara Ann Reavis, Burlington, N.C. and Alfreda B. Freeman, Gibsonville, N.C.; brother, Eugene Wesley Rose, Richmond; half sisters, Audrey Spangler and Ruby Miller, both of Christiansburg; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Friday at the Lotz Roanoke Chapel, with burial in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Lotz Roanoke Chapel.
