GYMNASTS WIN IN FORT EUSTIS

Several Roanoke Academy of Gymnastics gymnasts participate din the Colonial Invitational meet in Fort Eustis, Dec. 11-12. The winners and their levels are:

Level 6, ages 8 to 11: Sarah Pittman, 3rd beam; Megan Robertson, 3rd vault.

Level 6, ages 12 to 14: Kelly Jo Duncan, 3rd beam.

Level 8, ages 12 to 13: Beth Harms, 1st all-around (34.0), 1st beam, 2nd bars, 3rd vault; April Conner, 2nd vault.

Level 8, 16 and older: Maureen Jekielek, 1st all-around (32.7), 1st beam, 2nd bars, 3rd vault, 3rd floor; Tiffany Darist, 1st bars, 2nd all-around, 2nd beam.

Level 9, ages 14 to 15: Leigh Ann Lyle, 2nd bars, 2nd beam.

Level 10, ages 14 to 15: Holly Saunders, 1st all-around (33.65), 1st vault, 1st bars, 1st floor, 2nd beam; Erin Lester, 1st beam, 2nd vault, 2nd floor.

Level 10, 16 and older: Kelli Newcomb, 1st all-around (36.50), 1st floor (9.6 high score of meet), 1st bars, 1st beam, 2nd vault.
