BOXER'S ASSOCIATE PUNCHES WRITER

An associate of boxer Michael Nunn was arrested Tuesday after he walked into the Quad-City Times in Davenport, Iowa., newsroom and punched a sports writer.

Police said Daniel Dothard, 39, of Davenport was arrested on suspicion of assault with injury, an aggravated misdemeanor.

According to police and witnesses, Dothard was upset over a Monday column in which sports writer Craig Cooper criticized Nunn's management.
