VIRGINIA MILITARY INSTITUTE has named eight Roanoke-area residents to its Dean's List for the first semester of the 1993-94 academic year.

They are: Danny Walker Felty, son of Mr. and Mrs. Danny W. Felty; Chad Neal Correll, son of Mrs. Linda Yates; Mark Q. Emick Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Mark Q. Emick; James A. Donato, son of Dr. and Mrs. Antonio T. Donato; and Brandon Robert Cornett, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jim Cornett, all of Roanoke; Phetsavanh Xayavong, son of Sivilay Xavavong; and Robert T. Prince, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Prince Jr., both of Blue Ridge; and Bradley Thomas Yeatts, son of Mr. and Mrs. T.W. Yeatts of Salem.

RADFORD UNIVERSITY has announced the names of Roanoke-area students who graduated at the end of the fall 1993 semester.

Receiving bachelor of science degrees were: Charles Randolph Boush, Anthony Todd Kageals, Kimberly M. Kageals, Charles Hampton Poff Jr., Lisa K. Baker, Hope Elizabeth Fetherolf, Chadrick J. Williams, all of Roanoke; Crista Jonnel Peace of Fincastle; Tracy D. Heath of Daleville; Melinda Jane Hoops and Tobi S. Loyd, both of Troutville; and Jennifer Rae Barnes and Tonda M.
