Clinton will "christen the new `Hillary Clinton' tulip at a special ceremony at the Netherlands Residence" in Washington on Tuesday, the embassy said in a statement.

"It sounds like a lot of fun and an honor," said Neel Lattimore, a spokesman for Clinton.

The ceremony is part of festivities marking the 400th anniversary of the first flowering tulips in the Netherlands. More than 11,000 tulips will be on display at the residence.

A University of California regents committee wants to junk its contract with fallen junk bond king Michael Milken.

The contract allows Milken to use the university logo and to market videos of classes he taught at UCLA last fall. Milken keeps 95 percent of the profits; the school gets 5 percent.

The regents think that's a lousy deal - with a convicted felon, no less. They asked administrators Thursday to try to get out of the contract.

Milken pleaded guilty to six securities violations and served nearly two years in prison.

Heavy-metal fans, dream on. Aerosmith is negotiating to appear at the Woodstock 1994 concert.

"Nothing has been confirmed yet, but we've been talking to them," said the band's publicist, Wendy Laister. "We're waiting to see how the concert shapes up. It has the potential to be an amazing event."

Woodstock 1994 promoters want to hold the concert Aug. 13-14 at the Winston Farm in Saugerties, N.Y.

A simultaneous concert is slated 60 miles away in Bethel, the site of the original Woodstock festival in 1969. That show already has booked Woodstock alums John Sebastian and Richie Havens.

Aerosmith, a Grammy-winning heavy-metal band, has recorded such hits as "Dream On" and "Dude Looks Like a Lady."
