DEAN SMITH NO POOR SPORT TO JACK BOGACZYK:

I do not appreciate your article on Dean Smith.

Dean Smith is one of the best coaches in the history of basketball. How many games have you coached and won compared to him?

If I was a coach and some jerk gave one of my starters a concussion, I would be mad, too.

North Carolina played very well, considering the way Boston College was beating on them. There is no way Carolina's tallest players would miss so many layups unless someone was hammering on them from below.

I find it sad that the only way Boston College could beat the Tar Heels was by playing football.

Dean Smith is a poor sport? I would say that all of the people so glad to see North Carolina lose (I'm not mentioning any names here) are the poor sports.

And what about people that would intentionally harm people just to win a game? Doesn't that count as poor sportsmanship to you? Or does your definition of a poor sport only apply to the University of North Carolina?\ MEGAN S. WHITT\ HUDDLESTON
