OBIT PHILLIPS, LESLIE ALLEN

PHILLIPS, Leslie Allen, 73, of Christiansburg, passed away Wednesday night, December 29, 1993, in the V.A. Medical Center, Salem. He was a retired employee of the Lynchburg Foundry and a member of the Disabled American Veterans. Surviving are his wife, Margaret Kirkner Phillips; two sons and daughters-in-law, Richard and Debbie Phillips, Valley Center, Calif., Michael and Natalie Phillips, Cary, N.C.; two brothers, Eather C. Phillips, Laddie Phillips, both of Christiansburg; two sisters, Lidas P. Howell, Christiansburg, Agnes P. Graham, Salem; stepchildren, Judy Altizer and Phillip and Doris Howell, all of Christiansburg; ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, January 3, 1994, at the Richardson-Horne Funeral Home Chapel, conducted by Elder Willard Cox, with burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Richardson-Horne Funeral Home.
