OBIT-CAMDEN, PEARL ISABELL CLAYTOR

CAMDEN, Pearl Isabell Claytor, 90, of Lexington, Va. died Saturday, January 1, 1994, in Stonewall Jackson Hospital. Born in Rockbridge Co., April 23, 1903, she was the daughter of the late Ernest Eugene and Lucy Ingram Claytor. She was a member of Lauderdale A.R.P. Church, V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary #1499 and the American Legion Post #126. Mrs. Camden was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence C. Camden and two sons, Melvin and Ernest Camden. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Wilmore, Lexington; three sons, A. Calvin Camden, Valljo, Ca., Robert R. Camden, Oxnard, Ca., J. Lloyd Camden, Augusta Co., Va.; sister, Mrs. Arbutes Monnon, Glasgow; 18 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be conducted Wednesday, January 5, 1994, 2 p.m. from the Harrison Funeral Chapel with Rev. Zeb Carson Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion United Methodist Cemetery, Rt. 1., Glasgow. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Harrison Funeral Home and at other times at 208 or 213 Miller St.
