HIGH-PRIORITY ROAD IMPROVEMENTS:

IMPROVE the Interstate 581 and Elm Avenue interchange.

WIDEN Orange Avenue (U.S. 460) east of Williamson Road to the city limits.

WIDEN the I-581 and Roy L. Webber Highway corridor and add a southbound exit ramp at Overland Road and a full interchange at Virginia 419.

REPLACE the deteriorating Walnut Avenue bridge over the Roanoke River.

EXTEND Wonju Street as a four-lane road from Colonial Avenue to Brandon Avenue.

RECONSTRUCT the Williamson Road portion of the Hunter Viaduct to provide three southbound and two northbound lanes, and remove the traffic signals at Shenandoah Avenue.
